Canto- Colored
Very happy with how this came out! Because of Dante's innocence throughout these different worlds, I'd pictured him as a baby while Virgil is more of a parent figure, guarding Dante, playing a part of protection and also human reasoning. On top of that I like to picture Hell (or at least parts of it) to be very cold and wet- which is why I opted for the cooler colors. Let me know what you think!

Canto
Linework for a Dante's Inferno drawing I'm working on. Coloring it... should be up soon. I'm posting it for a group art blog up here that everyone should check out and follow! Each week we choose a theme and can choose between doing either an illustration or a comic.
Check it out! No Brain No Pain

Three-legged Wonder
"People are occastionally born with extra toes or fingers. Frank Lentini was born with a whole extra leg projecting from his back.
Frank always insisted that the extra limb didn't bother him in the least. However, he couldn't walk on it because it was too high up. 'But he could use it as a stool,' said Harry Lewiston, who worked with him in the circus. 'He was the only man I ever knew of who could sit down any time, any place, without bothering to drag up a chair.' The leg was functional to such a degree, Frank could even kick a ball with it, which provided a good tag for his part of the show." -Very Special People: The Struggles, Loves, and Triumphs of Human Oddities by Frederick Drimmer.
